"Tabanica" tells the story of a young hunter from a tribe in the deep jungles of the Xiloxoch, who discovers the technologies of the outside world, falls in love with it, and sets out to explore the world outside her deadly jungle home.
This is an on-going serialized fantasy set in the "Boundless Splendor" setting, where the Tragedy of Liana Incubore is set. It's built on adventure, discovery, and fun classic fantasy roots. If you want tales of seeking ancient ruins, fighting strange monsters, and discovering new sights, then this might be the tale for you.
"Tabanica" is a multi-part story, where each 10-chapter act is self-contained,
though will progress along a continuing story.

Chapter 1: Trials
I’d have to say it was when the eagle’s talon went into my eye socket that I realized hunting might not be for me. Obviously, my mom was horrified. I mean, she had good cause to be; an eagle was attacking my face.
See, in my society, everyone had a niche. Hunters are the heroes, the idols of our little village. I mean, I grew up just dying to be like Sklypna. She was huntmaster, had been for wends and wends; could see in the dark like a hawk, could cross rivers and jungles alike without making a sound. She was incredible. I dreamed of being a hunter, of moving through the brush like her, dropping to the forest floor, hunting beasts, and coming home with it hauled up on ropes, the whole village cheering.

Chapter 2: Tribulations
The next few trials were pretty uneventful. I could probably draw them out in some kind of convincing narrative, but it’s not really necessary. I passed them all easily. I snuck around, I hunted the prey, I hauled the carcasses, I knew poisonous versus edible flora, I held my breath (not as long as some, but well enough to hunt a caiman), I climbed the trees, and I scouted the area. I even fisticuffed properly (the only one I didn’t pass stunningly. I mean, I passed, just not that well)...
